Social media expert Clarity Bloom is loving her job at a high-tech gadget corporation in Seattle—until her BFF Janice turns up dead. Clarity throws caution to the wind and jumps into the investigation with both feet, much to the chagrin of her brother, Zen, a homicide detective,

Zen’s ultra-handsome detective partner, Hunter, encourages Clarity to learn self-defense—especially since she’s getting closer to discovering who the killer is. Using her social media sleuthing skills, she sets out to bait the murderer.

Is she clever enough to entrap the killer? Or will she end up as the catch of the day?

The transition between humor and mystery is seamless. I can’t explain exactly how, but I was laughing out loud over the banter and funny mishaps, and then 2 pages later, I caught myself tense and gripped by a creepy scene. The details about online investigation, the police methods, etc were fascinating. And many times I thought about the plot “wow, this is clever”, which is probably the highest praise a mystery novel can get. I hope they release more books in the series! –Amazon Reviewer
