Last Scream by Morgan Hannah MacDonald

EACH SCREAM COULD BE YOUR LAST
He kidnaps them. Punishes them. Kills them.
Then stages them as if they’re actors in some demented play.

Texas Ranger William Thomas is called to a gruesome crime scene where the body of a mutilated woman has been found displayed in a horrifying manner. No sooner does he catch the case when the FBI swoops in to steal it.
ONCE HE HAS YOU
Special Agent Savannah St. Germaine is working a case in Louisiana where a killer has been posing his victims in a macabre fashion. When a similar MO pops up in Texas she’s certain it's the same monster. She heads to Austin to investigate further. Her suspicions are confirmed, but the powers that be aren't willing to hand over the case. If she wants to work it she'll have to partner up with one of their own.
HE WILL NEVER
Lorelei Hamilton finally conquered her numbing fear and left her abusive husband. She followed the instructions by the underground network to the letter. She ditched her car, cell phone, and everything that could identify her; drivers license, credit cards, etc. One person drove her to a checkpoint where another would pick her up and take her to the next. This is how each leg of the journey was handled.
LET YOU LEAVE
No one knew her final destination. They called it plausible deniability in case anyone was compromised. Everything was running smoothly until she got in the wrong car. By the time she realized her mistake it was too late. She’d been abducted by a sadistic fiend who made her husband's violent outbursts look like child's play.
ALIVE
Now Will and Savannah are on the hunt for the most prolific serial killer the South has ever seen. Can they catch him before he claims his next victim?

This is the 3rd in the Thomas family series and is by far the best one yet. The way the main story and the sub plots were woven together and connected was brilliant. The chemistry between Will and Savy, perfect. This story pulls you right in and from the first word to the last word You are taken on a fast paced ride that was filled with edge of your seat thrills. I couldn't wait to see how it ended but didn't want it to end! I hope the rest of the Thomas's get their books. Do yourself a favor and read this series.
